Let's set an example...

Of politeness and constructive/ beneficial dialog on the board.
Stuck in a motel room and can't sleep.
44 guests online at 12:45 CST.
Suspect many of the visitors are seeking information due to the popularity of the various TV shows.
I'll admit I have said less than kind things about some of the personalities on television. My apologies for that and to any of them that may be lurking.
I hope that the guests will not come to the conclusion that joining and participating is not worth the effort.
Thanks in advance.

Kind words can never hurt any body. But they never seem to forget the harsh ones.

I used an example with the kids several years ago. Grab a tube of toothpaste and a plate, let a child try as hard as they can to squeeze out all the toothpaste on the plate, then allow them to try to put it back in the tube. You can't get any in. Then explain that words are alot like toothpaste, once it comes out, you can't take it back. They remind me of this at the oddest moments!
