Woohoo! I just got my check from Ebay motors class action suite!  (Yingling V EBay Inc. ) it's for a whole 9-cents!

Google it & get a laugh!   In a nut-shell, if you ever listed anything on Ebay motors (USA only, sorry 'folks across the pond) you were somehow ( without consent) rolled into a huge class action against Ebay motors' final value fee(s) charge against your ending auction(s) Damm! now I have to declare it as a windfall profit & give the X-wife a cut, Wait a minute ...this could be fun after all ( just to see her face when she opens her X-mass "present"  tounge

http://forums.ebay.com/db2/topic/Seller-Central/Ebay-Motors-Fee/520254047

scroll past all of the legal mumbo jumbo & read the comments.. you'll get a check for pennies & the lawers pocket $7.5 mil...nice!  & the primary plaintiffs got (as stated in the article) about $15k each ( on which they'll have to pay income tax & other taxes, Quick..let's get another Lawyer (Shakespeare was correct in his assessment on lawyers perhaps)    upside

I got $4.57.  I know a couple of people who got over $100.00.  They sold a fair amount of stuff.

I got 20 cents and deposited it the other day. Really threw the ATM OCR for a loop - it kept wanting to read it as $10.20.

I am taking my 0.39 to the bank today.  Too bad, I'll spend $3.19/gallon getting there.

That's something I don't think I'll ever understand.  It cost more in postage to send the check.  Was the postage included in the original deal and deducted from your payment?

Same thing goes for credit card companies.  I've gotten a bill for .25  Why not just mail me a statement and pocket the extra .19 that it cost to mail?
