Vendo Coin Changer

Just found this site a short while ago and what a wealth of information! I dug this Vendo Coin Changer out of storage recently for a quick project. After a little "soul searching" I decided not to do full a resto, but a refurbishment. They're only original once and I don't mind a few battle scars on my coin-op. It turned out pretty good considering how it looked to start with. I need to give a very grateful thanks to Eric from this site for graciously assisting with the billboard insert. I have everything working fairly well, but have a couple questions for the group. Anyone know of a source for the special filister head screws holding the rejector in place (pic attached)? I am missing one, and the closest one I can find with the right threads lets the mech flop around too much. Also, has anyone reproduced the original style base? My machine came from a location where the first VCC installed was stolen, so the second time around they cemented a pole into the ground. When I got the changer it came with the cast aluminum back and about 12" of the pole but that's all. I know getting a "real" base and pole are probably unlikely, but thought I remembered seeing a recast one once. Anyone know if a source? Thanks!

What is the head diameter and head length? I have a few old pinball mechs that might have the correct size.

I have not had any luck finding those screws. What I have done for those missing just one is use the 3 on the upper left and right side. Then on the lower left I use a 8-32x1/4" pan head screw and a 1/8" thick spacer with an O.D. the same size as the original screw head. Works like a charm and is out of direct sight.

The original base and pole were black and the base should have two holes for fastening to the floor...
Some time ago, an aluminum base was reproduced from the Coca-Cola Policeman Cross-walk Sign; originals are cast iron. These bases with an appropriate pole have been utilized for pole mounting the VCC. I have one, pictured here, that I'm hoping to locate an original back plate for sale... So, if yours becomes available for sale, please let me know...
I spoke with Rod at Fun-Tronics about reproducing these; however, the right fabricator hasn'r been found to keep the project reasonably priced...

One another note, this new metal fabricator seems pretty reasonable and may run the idea past him...

Forgot to ask in the last post, does anyone know the correct height of the pole and dimensions of the original base?

So I use a 8-32x1/4" pan head screw with a 1/4" O.D. & 1/8" I.D. spacer.

I can measure my pole later - I forget what it is.
