I just bought my first vintage coke machine. The fan on the bottom has a spout on top, when i open it it has oil in it.I assume this is for the gears. What type of oil is it and how full should it be...I checked the manual i have but couldnt find it anywhere.....thanks for your time....kevin

Kevin,
Please don't quote me on this as I am by no means an expert in this area, but I believe the "spout" you're referring to is for lubricating the bearings on the fan motor.  It should not be "full" at all, but merely a spot to put a couple drops of oil every now and then so the bearings don't burn up.  I am certain someone that truly knows what they're talking about will chime in soon, so just be patient.
