That's a really cool 7Up cooler!  Unfortunately, I have not come across anything really cool like that around here.  Seems like all the really neat ones are up north.  Does anyone happen to have any idea on any sort of cooler or machine that is harder to get up north and might be easier to find in the southern/Texas area?  Just curious if there are machines that are more prevalent in this area.  If I could find a really cool Pepsi machine or cooler, I know my wife would fall over for that one, haha.  She's a Pepsi girl.  I like them all personally!  Congrats on the new cooler!!!!

Funny you should mention that.  I've found some Dr. Pepper machines, but most of them are 1960s and later.  Guess I should look to see when Dr. P came out, that would probably tell me how old the machines would be.  Thanks!!

Dr. Pepper came out in the 1880's.

Wow, thanks for the quick response.  Almost quicker than looking it up on Google!!!  Haha.  So I should be able to find some pretty neat machines then if it's been out for that long.  Wonder why I haven't come across any.  I do apologize if I unintentionally changed subject on your post.  Thanks for the info though!

Dr. Pepper is a great one to collect and a hard one to find... they have some great
embossed coolers but no embossed upright machines that I know of.

Nice cooler...a little spendy for me, but I would love to have it for my game room.

Those are some great looking coolers.  If I was in PA, the 7-Up would be in my sights.
