Hey all. I just wanted to make sure everyone was out of the way of the violence. I just saw that there were riots in London on yahoo. I added the yahoo link

This morning the news reported copycat riots starting in Liverpool and other cities.   Stay safe Dave, GP, Kapri, and others who I may have failed to mention but in our thoughts nonetheless

Thanks Chaps... Have had to dig my uniform out. Haven't worn it for more than three years. Sitting in my office now waiting for deployment.

Fair to say worst disorder in living memory and has stretched the emergency resources like nothing has ever done (including terrorist attacks).

Some are likening it to the blitz....

Would much rather be talking about coin op....

Oh Wow Dave! I didn't know it was that bad. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Does the Uk have a national Service type system that everyone is basically in reserve status? Please stay safe.

GP REPORTING FOR DUTY DAVE.....

well better late than never............

anyway, whilst dave is keeping the nation safe....

i have been driving thru the various hot spots in my

little van, [manchester, birmingham and then london]

to keep an appointment with the son of an old slot

machine operator thru the late 50's 60's and early 70's

so whilst dave has been dusting down his old uniform

i was up the ladders in the loft sifting thru 30 years

of black dust and grime to see if there was anything

worth salvaging from the old guys old workshop shed.

found load of oldwrigleys beechnutvendors for dave and

a 21 trade stimulator & half a dozen old slots in varying

states of decay but mostly complete including a x4 reel

bellomatic, a caille grand jackpot, mills extraordinary and

another as yet unnamed but probably mills variant of some

description together with some old locks and keys & a box

full of old mechanical payout slides................................

pix tomorrow if i wake up!

best regards GP
