National Vending Machine Plastic Knobs.

Hello Gentlemen

Thanks to Leonard I am now able to start a restoration on one of my National Cigarette Machines that has spent the last couple of years
in my garage.

The first obsticle I need to jump is the restoration of the plastic  knobs. Mine are a little tired and I'd like to breathe some new life in them.

I remember Kurtis saying that they are not chromed underneath so I wondering if anyone has ever re-painted etc theirs and if so could
they pass some tips my way.
