Hi I been working on my new stoner 180 (thanks Tim!) it has a  nickel change maker and coin mech. With only the lower price lever engaged it vends on 15 cents (dime & nickel comb) also that's what's marked on the prices labels.  With both prices levers engaged it vends on  10 cents(dime only).. does not give change or except just nickels.  Is there any way to get it to vend on a nickle only? I downloaded the manuals from the SMC site, but it's assume you know all of the parts of the coin mech unit.

It look's like some parts are missing on the coin mechs. Especially the part where the wheel for the charge maker  hits on the coin mech (see arrow's in pics).

Also, what is best body filler (bondo or spot putty...etc) to use on the cabinet?

Thanks,
Ray

This is about opening or closing those metal pieces on top where the post engauge.  I don't have a picture at work.  I can send one to you tonight if no one else chimes in with a better explanation or picture.

Never mind, I used your picture for an example.

Hi Larry, Thanks for the input, with only the lower price lever engaged it vends for 15 cents (dime & nickel comb only)  With both prices levers engaged it vends on  10 cents(dime only) I think it has something to do with the coin mech and what gets engages it also doesn't give change or except just nickels. PM Curtis and see what he thinks.  He's the Stoner expert.  My machines were only 5 to 10c vending.

Ray,

I'm finishing up my 180 w/ changer and have not found a solution as of yet to allow the machine to vend on 5 cents, but give a nickel when a dime is deposited...
It's definitely been difficult researching from manuals as they do not have good photos!

Jim,

Thanks for the input, I did pm Curtis last week haven't heard back yet. So if your coin mech  give change can you possible take an post a pic of your coin mech so I can see what's missing on mind? If you look at the 2nd pic I posted you'll see the wheel from the nickel change maker my coin mech doesn't  have anything for that wheel  to engage with on the coin mech to give change (see pic 1).

Thanks,

Ray
