I picked this up today. A friend called me with a lead. I didn't expect much but when I arrived I found this machine for sale. Everything works. There is rust in the bottle door but everything else is solid.

What do you guys think it's worth? I spent $375.00 on it.

Nice machine at a good price!   The site for the link below "antiquevending.com"  has some good info and pics of a restored one that they want $4499.99.

Fun-Tronics sells allot parts for this machine including the bootle door gasket  and springs.    The Bootle door does looks rusty, but is it rusted out?

I think you got a great deal. These and the 110's are not appreciated as much and are under valued as far as I'm concerned. I believe the 110's are better looking machines than the 81's but are just to heavy.

Oscar,

You're right about the 110's not getting the attention they deserve. I have a couple of 110's. They are always more affordable and they stand out in the large garage much better than the small machines.

You can pick up a six case vertical for around $300 and it weighs less than a v81. It doesn't have the mechanics but is a cheap way to get a multi vend machine. It would be a lot less to restore than a machine with the vending mech. Something to keep in mind if you have someone looking for a machine and they don't have much to spend.
