The auction was 5 months ago and there would have had to have been two people wanting it badly....one person wanting it badly would have gotten it for $600-$700.

I think it would have been cheaper to just buy a "parts" machine instead.. That's alot of money for the rack

I agree...but I think some people don't get that...they just know they need this part and are willing/able to pay for it.
I was offered $400 for a rack a while back and I laughed at them...I thought it was at least worth what a replacement (reproduction) was going to cost and they didn't agree.
