Has anyone ever heard of an Orange Smash soda? There is a man in the town where I live that has a white porcelain store type cooler that I have never seen before. Like I said, it is white porcelain coated, emossed with raised panel doors on top with the words "Orange Smash" embossed on each door. When I first saw it, I thought it was a really small porcelain stove. This thing is in excellent shape. Any idea of what i might be worth? I went down there today to get some pictures of it, but he wasn't there. I know it's useless to post without a picture and I'll try to get some pictures soon. This man has an amazing collection of antiques from signs to machines, gas pumps, cash registers, coolers, just about everything. I'm breathing hard just thinking about it. If someone out there can post a picture of it, I would appreciate it.

Any way to get a photo of his cooler to show us and narrow down what it may be...? Is it a picnic cooler or a chest-type cooler...?

It looks kind of like a Glascock cooler. If I remember correctly, the legs look a little Victorian and it is about the size of a Glascock cooler. Two doors on top, hinged in the middle and open from the ends.

Well there was a Cherry Smash which was around long enough to be put in cans so Orange Smash could have been their orange.

Sounds like an S&S with slide in panels. Take a look at the bottom of the cooler were the empty case would typically sit. If it looks as though the legs were stamped out from there then it's definetely an S&S. TFJ

Very nice cooler! Early model too! Looks just like the one Eric posted but twice the size; same two screws on the face and even the legs look the same... Be nice to include in the SMC Database, but a photo of the complete cooler would be more appropriate. Is there a label/id tag...?
