Thermometer Replacement

I need some advice.  I bought this at the Metro show 2 weeks ago real cheap because it was missing the thermometer.  Has anyone had experience replacing one, if so where did you find the thermometer and what size is it?

There used to be a guy on Ebay that sold  replacement
tubes, and had a web site.

I've never swapped one out so i can't help there

I've had some good luck at the local dollar stores, you can find a cheap thermometer with the same size/length tube & transplant it onto the original.   Just a thought.
