Does the iron method remove the decal in one piece? My gas pump has a derby sticker on it that I would like to save but really can't use since I am making it a standard pump and it is ontop of a phillips 66 shield of paint (the paint literally chipped off around the phillips decal that was over the derby decal)

You can have the sticker scanned by a sign shop and they can reproduce it with an inkjet vinyl decal. I did it with a budweiser decal.

I got the decal off with no problem. It wanted to curl up so I just put it upside down on the ironing board with the wet towel over it and used the iron with steam to flatten it back down. Now I have a nice decal that I can display. Worked really fast too.
