Hi all....I can't quite say why I bought this. Kinda on a whim. But it's definetely going to take up a good portion of my time. I've always loved this car, and the price was right, so I pulled the trigger. Let me know what you think!

Great old piece of Detroit steel!  happydrinkers Bigger is better and if it sticks out chrome it!  Probably enough steel there to build five Chevy Volts.  The auto designers just don't have the creativity and flair that they used to and they have forgotten how to bend metal that way.  Are you going to restore to original?

Here is something you might want to pick up:

By the way, what is the two tone yellow and white classic in the background?  Looks like maybe a 56 Fairlane?

Thanks for the nice comments....It's a 59, all origonal West Coast car. The engine and trans are origonal and both rebuilt. It's got a 352 Interceptor 300 HP engine under the hood. I'm going to keep it as origonal as possible. I plan on doing a re-paint the origonal white, and the interior is 2-tone green and white. I always loved the hardtop convertibles. Just watching the top lift up and then retract into the the trunk is totally cool.
