Thanks for writing Eric,
This machine has been jerry-rigged I'm sure.Well to start off, the base of the junior doesn't seem right.Doesn't all Quikold Juniors come standard with casters.
That is what I've came across in literature. This junior has no casters and there is no holes or plates or anything that a caster can secure too. There is just the frame on the bottom. And I am not sure if this frame has been replaced at some time. Also we know that most machines are notorious for having their cap catchers missing. This one is no different. Now I have a cap catcher for a Westinghouse Junior but it doesn't work.I would like the dimensions for an original Quikold Junior cap catcher or for one that works on the machine. Do you think I'm done....No way! There is still more problems with it. It's missing the original lid and handle.
The lid on it ,when I bought the Junior, was definitely not the correct one. Also the tub has been replaced and another tub was jerry-rigged in place of it. The drain tube was gone and I'm not sure how it is connected after it peeks out from underneath the tub.So I need dimensions and pictures if possible, to do this project right. Also it has stainless steel trim that goes around the top for the lid to lay down against.Well if you would like to contact me directly with photographs of your junior, my address is
sunnycal33@yahoo.com .This cooler is worth it though. It was actually on ebay about a month ago. That is how I came acrossed it. But it's not easy driving 1300 miles from California to Texas to pick this Quikold up. Anyone else is welcome to help me. I'll be checking in regularly for any emails....Thanks ..John
