i took out my can stack today and found these on the floor of the cabinet. my mechanism works fine and i didnt see where these might go to it. maybe my v56 square top had a bottle stack before and they were parts from it. just thought someone might need them or could tell me if they go to my machine.

it's a broken in half "S" link-tab,    maybe it was replaced some time in the past, provided your stack isn't missing one that is

I photo edited it roughly back together to compare it to your links

thanks , nice work. i dont have any missing s tabs, so i assume its off an old one. that snapped perfectly in half , i couldnt tell a difference in the 2. mods i guess you can delete this thread unless you want to keep it around  for johnnies awesome csi work.

jim, birthday was great, other than the new 40 year old title i acquired.
