John(signguy) unfortunately I went thru what you experienced a few months back. I had to put My 13 year old Boxer(blackjack) to sleep today. I stayed in the room with the vet when he gave him the shot, and right before he gave it to him he raised his head and looked right at me. I guess he was saying goodbye.

Sorry for your loss... yeah it sucks haveing to do that, but its the right thing to do so they don't suffer.. that would make it even worse.. where on the lookout for a new family pet and the kids picked out what they want to get, but won't be till spring so we can train properly...

Sorry for the loss....one of the hardest things to do in life. I think pets can sense your sadness and they know... Like John said though, it is the right thing to do! Time heals all wounds!!

Sorry to hear about this! I have been through it before, it is sad and no fun. I don't look forward to the day I have to do it again. I have a 11 year old Dalmatian. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about your friend also. I had to due the same thing about 14 years ago. Your pets get to be such a part of your family that it is hard and sad. The family dog I have now will soon be 15 years old and slowing down fast will have to go thru it once again, not looking foward to that day.
