Does anyone know if it's possible to change a slug rejector from 25 cent to 5 cent?  This is the smaller type head.

many thanks-David

What machine are you putting it in?
No way that I know of, but I don't mess with that make of rejector much. On the NRI rejectors, the nickel cradle won't fit into the cutouts when on the quarter post. If you could bend the arms on the cradle far enough in to hold the nickel, then maybe.
I have several NRI nickel rejectors if interested.

is this going in an old coke  machine? If it  is that rejector will not work. That is an arcade rejector and everything is backwards. YOu must have a NRI rejector for soda machines. Unfortunately they have not been made in a long time and nothing else will work.

Not necessarily true! I have modified rejectors to take tokens instead of coins. I modified a NRI rejector for Dave that would allow the British Pound coin to be used. All you have to do is redirect the coins to where you want it to exit. I have a bunch of V-83 nickel rejectors (which exit the rejector just like the one above) that with a little modification, I can make them work for other machines.
Where there is a will there is a way!

I knew you restored, didn't know you would/could modify, The ball bowler I have  is missing the original 10 cent rejector, The previous owner  must have found a rejector from a 25 cent bowler ( they sit sideways in the machine), but the coin slot on the bowler is sized for dimes. I hate having to short the credit button to rack up games

No, it's for a old slot machine,  I ended up finding a replacement for 10 bucks, but thanks for everyone's feedback.
