Thanks for posting the pics and measurements of the counter top.  That will come in handy when I get around to restoring mine.  If you are doing a full tear down and resto of yours I would appreciate the blow-by-blow tutorial!

I am attempting that now. It will be a slow process though. Will try to take photos as I go

I did some research and if you refinish it, it would sell for at least $5000 easy.

What is the best way to attach a counter to one of these.
I just finished a 3 door and want to attach a counter, but don't want to destroy the machine either. 
Is there a way to make the counter come off easily if I wanted to?
