I'm going to pick a v-63 tomorrow and it'a a later model one with the fake wood on the front can you remove it? This a complete working macine stored inside it's whole life in super shape. I'm going to use it in my garage. Or is it a good idea to leave it alone.

Heat gun will get the woodgrain off.

I have used a heat gun, then taken the remnants of glue off with a good soaking of Goo-Gone, let it sit for 10-15m then get a plastic card and you can get everything.  Typically the surface under the woodgrain is really nice, since the vinyl keeps it protected.

Yep it is easy to remove. Sometimes you are lucky and the paint is red or white but sometimes it is painted drown under the woodgrain so you don't gain much. Look at the back of the door to see what the color of the door will be.
