When I got this Coke machine (C-51) it had no top fan. But the coke machine ran great and kept the cokes cold. Now I am going to order a new fan motor and blade but do not see how to wire it up. All the wires going up to where the fan goes are not for the fan? Will the fan come with the wire to hook up somewhere on the machine?

It should - are you getting the fan from one of the major suppliers? The fan is supposed to run continuously, so it is hard-wired in the the wiring harness.

got mine from FUN_TRONICS. it has two wires. wired one to hot/black wire and the other to neutral/white wire of the power cord. didn't seem to matter which wire was wired to the hot or neutral as it is working great. since i am new at this someone may have a better idea. hope this helps. rudy

I may be wrong but I don't think the fan motor for the 51 is reproduced. I know it uses a different motor than other machines.

I am not sure which one I will need?? I have four small holes and one bigger hole in front where the motor goes for the fan blade and also three tabs on the outside. One at the top and one on each side on the back. Which one do I need? Also, does the blade where you tighen the screw go facing the front of the machine or to the rear? Thanks

if you order from fun-tronics you will need part # 11C-1.the fan blade is part # 13C. I did not need to use the three tabs in the back. the blade will face the front of the machine when placing the screw. rudy.

Thanks, also, when you install the fan blade, does the screw go in front of the blade facing the front of the machine or do you have to reach over the blade to reach the screw on the blade? Just want to make sure I install the blade right.

for those of you who may have an original C51 evaporator fan with the three blades, remember that the retaining screw on the end of the original shaft is a left-hand thread....(counter-clockwise to tighten & clock-wise to remove it)
