pepsi logo question

Just wondering but is there any reason why people sometimes flip the pepsi logo over on some of these machines? On my machine the pepsi logo on the selection button was upside down with the blue on the top and the red on the bottom and I have noticed that other machines for sale sometimes have this done to them too. Really good question on my machine why because it took a few hours of work just to get to the little piece to flip it over. Just something I was wondering about.

I think over time people remove the sign to clean it and forget which way it was supposed to go

I bet that is exactly what happened. I almost said that too but it was just bugging me too much.
