Hi Guys
some of you may recall a while ago me asking about a sign that was on UK Ebay... Well with massive thanks to The Ginger Prince and his van (truck) it arrived earlier this week.
I made a real newbie mistake. I looked at the picture and never really considered the text. Never in a million years thought it would be this big.
Needless to say Mrs B is not too pleased.
Hey Ho.. Its here now and its not going anywhere in the near future..
Dave

I bought one just like yours years ago. Yes, it's big. But it really sets the garage off just right.
Congrats

The young Miss B doesn't look too pleased either! I am sure you'll find a place for it!

mmmm...........Daves buying and selling volumes are
now so high he has his own inhouse shipping company
................Ginger Prince Shipping Inc........................
........... No Item Too Big or Small We Carry It All.........
so who on the forum holds the record for the largest single
item ever collected? what was it? and how was it transported?
for record purposes we will need pix of course.....................
i sold my bumper car recently and that was the heaviest item
i have ever collected, and this Amoco sign i collected for Dave
is probably the longest .........so its over to you guys............

Thanks for the nice coments guys...
The sign is a little too large for my rather small one car garage and certainly won't fit into my tiny gameroom.
So, I have managed to negociate a bit of garden wall with Mrs B.. Will have to wait until a family BBQ at the end of the month to get people to give me a hand to lift it up and screw it on...

So, I have managed to negociate a bit of garden wall with Mrs B.. Sounds like it has cost more than the original purchase price....happens to me all the time!
