It may look nice to some of you, but I think my studio lighting to some degree shows it off a litte better than it really appears.  I'm leaning towards a full restore but haven't completely made up my mind.  The wiring is all cracked and I just can't stand what might be lurking beneath the inside.

That looks really nice. You could still redo the wiring.

Its your machine and you need to be happy with it... But in my humble opinion you only really need to rewire her. A wiring harness from one of the sponsers would sort that out...

I much prefer the small door model...

Wow! That's really sharp looking! It's amazing what a little time and elbow grease can do. From a safety standpoint, I too would invest in a new wiring harness.

My honest opinion, You would be stupid to restore that machine. That machine is 55 years old, a killer nice survivor, If you want a restored machine, go and buy one that needs to be restored. This one does not and just needs a few groceries to keep her going. You can pick up restorable 81As for $1000-1200, This machine is a $2500 machine as is easily and deserves to be left alone.

If you want it freshened up let me know. this would be an easy one to get done

That is to nice to restore.  Clean up the inside a little more and enjoy it!
I have a milk machine that is the same way.  It is just to nice to start restoring.
