Machine type and value

I have an older soda machine and I have no clue what it is or its value.  I need some expert advice.  I will attach Picture of it.

Your cameras resolution is set to low, but it looks like a
mid 60's Vendo V56/ with a can conversion rack, as you can see it still has the bottle opener, (as opposed to a can opener) converted it holds 49- 12oz. cans , worth (buy the book) in good condition, aprox. $500, but I can see that your machines lightup sign is blank, this will reduce the selling price.
so I'd say (in my opinion) between ~$250-$400.00. so what are you looking for in the way of advice???

When working with pictures, and you do not have a program specific to working with pictures, stay away from Microsoft Paint.  It does not do well when enlarging photos.  Search your system in detail, particularly in any folders that say Microsoft Office, or Microsoft Office Tools, look for Microsoft Photo Editor.  As the name would imply, Photo Editor is designed to work with photos and will do a much better job of enlarging, and you can do some adjusting to contrast and brightness.  If no Photo Editor on your system, try going to Cnet.com, they have many free downloads of basic programs to work with photos.  They will be stripped down samples of a program trying to encourage to buy a product.  Bottom line, you will be able to do simple things such as enlarge a photo and keep decent resolution.

Nicest 56 I have seen. Painted and working should bring $800 + if you replace the Coca Cola letters in the sign.                                                                                     The fact that the vending rack dispenses cans is great.
Cans are easily available in any flavor, and much cheaper.

IMHO, $800 is way too generous. This has had a pretty poor "restoration" done to it. It's fairly obvious by the silver spraypaint inside, compressor compartment. orange peel (rough) red paint, and the kitchen cabinet handle on the bottle door. I would place it's value more around the $150-$250 range.

and correct me if I'm wrong but in reply to John in NC, I believe his/it's  paint is actually a red-metalflake, but due to the flash/glare looks a little rough , perhaps  Jeff can clarifiy
