Does it have all the insides? vending mechanism, belt? Looks to be a nice original, but the C51, again are single flavor, single size bottle vendor, so not as popular with the Every day Guy,, but for a collector it's a nice looking original.. 500 600 range?

I tried getting $400 on Ebay for mine twice with no luck. I finally sold mine local for $250. I think these machines are nice but not in demand at all. I would do one of two things with these.
1. Keep it until they do become more desireable then sell 2. Keep it and enjoy it.
Dont get me wrong. I really like this machine. Just has alot going against it. Single vend, large size, little chrome, etc.

I bought two C-51s for $400.00 a year and a half ago. I sold one for $650.00 and it needed to be restored. It was complete and worked great but in a real need of a paint job. And if your going to paint it you might as well take it completely apart and do it right.
The guy who bought it drove an hour and a half to look at it and returned the following week to finish the deal. So I guess he really wanted it. The reason for the two trips was he assumed I would accept a check on a Sunday. And I never accept checks from people I don't know. Or at least I never give up the machine before the check has cleared.
Personally, I like the C-51. And I prefer it painted in solid red as opposed to the white over red paint scheme on later machines.

I have one Bought it back in 1999 and paid $400 for it still have it have it apart got some of the parts chromed going to get it painted some time soon, It's a keeper I'm the second owner of The local Fire Dept. owned it when it was new . But back to the value I would say $500 There just not that popular of a machine right now but that could change in a year who knows.

I passed on a complete one for 600. But I had planned to buy and flip. It's a nice looking machine, and wouldn't mind one in the game room.
