I like the Vendo 81's and probably would choose it as the most wanted model based on prices and board posts I have seen.
What do you guys think? Maybe the 44? 56? Cav72?

The most WANTED model is most definately the 81, but personally I like the RT V-56. It appears to be more prone to rust issues, but is smaller in size.

The Milss 400C definately, followed by the 81 ofcourse. Lol, I hadn't seen that model. There is a Mills 120 up for auction at the one I am going to this Sat. I have to check out what these machines are all about. The 120 seems to have a bullet-hole in it though!

Hands down the 81 is the most desireable due to it's versatility and smaller size than the 110, but I'd have to say the Jacobs 144 MONSTER is a close second.. I actuall sat inside one once! guy was gooing to make a phone booth out of it.

I must have stumbled on your sweetened barrels. Hic up! My guess would be the Vendo Decapper Vendo/VMC 81 Jacob 56 Vendo/VMC 44 Vendo 56 cavalier72 cavalier 96 Vendo 88 Vendo/Vmc 110's Vmc 33 Vmc 27 vmc72 vendo 39 But, I would still start my list with either a Lyons 500 or a Mills 400C.

Right now it seems the 81... but as time goes by who knows.. a square top could take their place... I've noticed the past couple years as members come and go here more square tops are becoming the topic... Myself I've had both and prefer the round tops still I guess but my favorite has become... of course... coolers... I'd take a junior or standard Quikold over a 81 I think... When I started out collecting it was round tops 81s, 72, 56s,39s but now I'm down to a rt56, 39 and a 33.. love my coolers and that's all I focus on.... So anyone out there got a Pepsi or RC Quikold for sale?...Anyone?

You do know I have an RC Standard Quikold right??? Might let it go! Larry, any cup machines at the upcoming auction? What is in the picture to the left of this Mills machine? Looks like a cup machine or popcorn machine?

81's are probably the best, but I really like the square tops too.

For me it is whatever machine I happen to be pursuing at the time! Obviously, there are the super rare Vendo DeCapper and the Victor Kooler Grille. But for ones that might actually show up, I say the Vendo/VMC 81 and 44. Those are high on my list anyway! Tim

I would have to agree on the 81 as being the most desirable. I have other favorites and have some bias towards certain machines. I really like the "thin" Square Tops like the Cavalier 55 Series machines and the Westinghouse 44. The Mills 400C is pretty cool too!

Whatever machine strikes my fancy at that moment. and while some of the uber rare machines are nice, I just don't think they are that desirable. RC Cola was a minor niche cola in Michigan, If I didn't know of it's rarity, I'd prolly choose a Coke or Pepso 81 over an RC 81.

I would have to say the Lacrosse64 or 56 honesty Right now yeah the 81 Would be the more popular machine, but myself a nice little Sq. top 56 I think they have come along ways and I think as time goes by they too will become more popular. good subject
