Welcome to the site. Sounds like you got some neat machines. Are you a nebraska corn huskers fan? Just asking because your username is big red.

You can upload pics to your webspace (usually you have a certain amount of allotted space to use through your IP) and then post a link to them in your post
OR
There is a picture resizing utility somewhere on the SMC site, but I've never used it so I don't know off hand where it is. Search resizing pictures and I'm sure something recent will come up providing the link.

Here is the info about posting pictures.. http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,6817.0.html  There is a 100k size limit on pictures. There is an on-line utility that can re-size the pictures posted in that link above..

Cool   wooooo hooo figured it out that was easy

first i opened the pic in paint then at top image then resize i resized the slider to 50% X 50% to get 33.0 kb
and 40% X 40% on the other to get  24.8 kb

like i said earlier the slider i saved from the trash she has some issues but love her and will fix her up in time
and the other i bought and she also has some minor issues but love her and we will work them out
hope you like them as mch as i do

That's about what my slider looked like before I fixed it up. Now, when people come over, a lot of them like the slider better than my Vendo 63. Of course, the slider is the one I keep the beer in.  laugh Do you have the coin mech and rack?

That looks like a USS-8-64 but the proportions look weird. Must be the colors.. Never seen that color scheme before.. I'd go $100 max if its complete and cools... But I'm cheap. biggrin

Looks like a Cavalier USS 64 to me.  I think the unique paint job is distorting the lines of the machine.  Never seen one painted like that.  But it looks pretty good.  It also looks like the lighted sign was removed and replaced with a non-lighted Pepsi sign--but that may just be an optical illusion wow as well.  The exterior seems to be in good shape but what does the inside look like?  All the shelves and spacers there?  Coin mech?  Any rust issues?

If it runs and cools and everything is there, I have seen these go from $100 to $300.  I paid $400 for mine but it was my first machine and I had not done much research on this site so I ended up over-paying.  Still love the machine and the original wood-grain!  happydrinkers I use it every day.  It is a very versatile machine because it can vend just about anything in cans or bottles.

This one looks like it was repainted somewhere along the line.

That's a pretty long haul for a machine that is bound to turn up closer at some point.  But it does look like a clean little machine.

Ditto!
I'd make an offer or ask the seller if that is the best he'll do and explain that adding the cost of time & gas for you will be $$$ and equates too much for that machine. Put a pencil to it and see if it is worth the time and expense. Patience is a virtue in this hobby - we all have driven the 8-15 hour round trip, but (to me) it has got to be worth it. I too found that (in time) what you want will sooner or later be in your backyard if you keep a diligent search.

8 select - 96?

My machine holds 7-8 12oz bottles or 8 cans per shelf. My Michelob Ultra fits 8 bottles, but I just loaded some wine coolers as well and only got 7 on the shelf.

It will hold 8 of the 8 oz. cokes per shelf and 7 12 oz cans or bottles of just about anything else.  It will also vend a lot of the 12 to 16 oz plastic bottles.
