When you find rust on the bottom of the tub, what is the best way to remove it. Going to sand blast the paint off tommorrow. It has been fun so far. Mike

Sandblast the tub too.. get the rust off, if there are holes, they possible could be filled depending on size, or you may have to put a new bottom in, which can be welded in pretty easily and I think a few of our Restoration company friends sell the new bottom, complete with drain hole and chanel..
