Those Who Stay Will be Champions!

« on: April 13, 2010, 04:41:34 am »

A friend of mine who knows I collect sent me an e-mail about a machine that a friend of his has.  Not sure if it is for sale or if it is some other question about repairs.  I will find that out today.  I have attached a picture that he sent.  I have never owned an 81 but based on the large coin door, I believe this to be an 81-D.  Is that correct?  Looks to be an original in nice condition.

Thanks!

Nice looking D, It has been repainted at some point in its life. But a great start on one for sure.

Looks nice Tim,,,

Not sure on how original it is? as the 81D's came out of the factory all with white tops... so it could have been repainted at one point, but looks like it was done right? not sure, you might be able to tell once seeing it in person.

Looks nice, good luck on getting it

Since it's a Michigan Machine, it needs the "Do not use Canadian Coins" decal.
Good luck Tio, I hope it's not a fishing expadition from the owner.
Wow, makes me think i should send out my 81 to get done

C's were small doors like a B, and did not have the trim.
