Okay so I have been a slacker once again. I got around to finishing up my machine, and my door liner is being a huge pain. None of the holes are lining up top to bottom, left to right etc. I even used the dremel to widen the holes, but I can't get them to work. What do you guys do to get them to fit? Do you drill new hole in the door? Thanks for your help
Terry

I'm having the same problem...I haven't put it on yet, but I tried a putting in a few screws to see how it looked about a month ago and the new liner just didn't line up. I thought maybe I ordered the wrong liner (large door instead of small door), but I don't think so.

Definitely not inside out. The problem is the holes don't line up regardless of which way it was on!

I lined up one side, then using a rubber tipped bar clamp (used for assemblying furniture) g-e-n-t-l-y appllied pressure to line up the holes...(soft cloths between the rubber faces of the clamp and the paint...) on the 44 I lined up the wooden dowels and door latch first, then started working from one side to the other... it took about two hours, but once you get a few started on the other side the rest will start to line up...

.... you will have to drill at least one or two holes that just won't line up...

I did 3 pretty recently and did not have to modify the holes any. They did not want to line up perfectly but were off enough to be a pain. I just started working around the door a few screws in one section at a time while not tightening them all the way. Leaving the liner slightly loose lets it move a little as you get those stubborn screws in. Then once they are all started in the hole you can tighten them all down.

I have installed a few after-market liners and have experienced the same issue. The way around it is to treat it like a tire. Start at the top left, then bottom right, then the top right and bottom left and so on. In the beginning, you may have to apply a little pressure to "warp it", but it will work with a little effort.

Done this and this works well Or start one in the top middle and one at the bottom middle ( leaving them lose so you can shift the liner if it need it then the same thing for the sides, then clock wise all the way around add a screw till you have hit every, hole then tighten You know that last part sounded a little dirty .

Ill try these great ideas, although I think my liner is pretty off! I really appreciate everyone's help and advice. I am still learning and have little to offer as far as advice. I love the fact that everyone on here can still appreciate these machines day in and day out. I have fallen back in love with this machine since I started working on it again (soda machines were on the backburner because of the new boat). I love it so much, I am not going to sell it anymore. Thanks for all the help everyone, I will post pics when it is done.
