Boy I swear...we are supposed to let a close-by friend's dogs out in the afternoon because he is busy this week and doesn't get home until late. I went over there this afternoon, let the dogs out and let them back in after they did their business. One dog has to go back in a carrier because he is destructive if left alone - tears papers up and eats anything. He wouldn't go in to the carrier voluntarily and kept hiding from me (under the bed, behind the couch, other side of the dining room table, etc.

When he was under the bed, I stomped my foot to try and scare him out but I think I bruised my heel. I can barely walk! I need a cane or to support myself as I move around or something to grab on to.

This bites! I have free box passes to the WM golf tournement tomorrow and I don't think I can get around. Going to miss out on free food and drinks, darn

Who told you I was living?

Dr. says I got a bruised heel bone - doesn't see anything broken - hurts like an SOB to put weight on it is all.

You should never stomp your heel... If you do it hard enough, you may bruise your heel bone..   biggrin

Sorry to hear that Tom.. hopefully, staying off it and plenty of ice will help you get to the golf match tomorrow.

Especially from the box seats ! ! !

I hope you get there and enjoy the tourny ! ! !

Hey Tom,
Been there have the padded tennis show and crutch to show for it :-)
Good excuse to sit as much as possible.
Just duct tape an inch or so of foam to an old shoe and use a crutch to support most of the weight.
You should be able to be mobile.
Dogs tear stuff up when they are bored. A few stuffed animals for them to hump/play with should take care of that.
Chew toys good as well.
Mine heel took about three weeks to heal.
Creighton
P.S. Dogs Creed:
Can't eat it or hump it, piss on it and walk away
