Someone told me they have a "transitional 81", which they said was only made for a year or so and was actually a transitional model between round tops and square tops.  Has anyone heard of such a machine, and is it rare?  Any idea as to year or value?  Thanks.

Hey buddy. Its my machine. We have been discussing me buying his Westinghouse 44 and a possible trade for his Westinghouse 42T and a possible trade for the 81.

...This machine will not be for sale. It is mine and will be my first restoration when I get home!! I cannot wait!!! I told my soon to be new wife about it and believe it or not she is excited. She can't wait to help work on it!

Yes - what happened? Did your fiancee back out of the project?

No I am going to. He just asked if I had anything to trade and thats all that I have. I would like to have the W44. They are not popular but I like them. I finally told him I don't want to sell the 81. Its too nice.

It was actually a W44 and a parts 42T. I want to buy the machines but I really want to keep my Transitional 81. Thats such a cool machine. I think I am going to do it in RC Cola instead of Faygo though.
