Take the lid off that and polish it up. They're aluminum and they come up like chrome. I did this with all the ones I restored and they look great in my opinion

Thanks guys,

I did give some thought to polishing the lid, but it was easier to send the lid and cap catcher cover to the paint shop to be done in silver base/clear coat.  Had one painted for another Office Cooler resto and it turned out real nice.

Still need a basket though.

It would seem to me that it should be fairly easy to fabricate that basket if you had the dimensions?
