Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan. | | |

One thing to keep in mind is making sure the "select solenoid" doesn't stay energized or it will burn out over time... |

http://cgi.ebay.com/FREE-PLAY-ADAPTER-for-49-55-SEEBURG-Jukeboxes_W0QQitemZ200420277532QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2ea9fabd1cI've bought several adapters from the seller for customers and my machine(s), and I'm  very satisfied with the quality, ease of  installation and performance. And a flip of the switch  returns it  to accept coins. And no, I have no connection whatsoever, other than a satisfied customer. Jim is correct, a lot of people will jumper the solenoid to keep a credit active, this will always lead to the solenoid  eventually burning out, or worse, overheating and starting a fire. |

Pretty much same stuff you would use on a pop machine I use Windex on the glass, and furniture polish ( pledge)  on the wood. I imagine a citrus based  cleaner would work, such as Orange-Glo,  you don't want any thing caustic.
Chrome trim I use white vinegar, avoid anything with abrasives
to clean up the amp cover  try Westley's Bleche-White Tire Cleaner, Pep Boys or any automotive store should have it,  most likely hardware stores also,  Walmart, Kmart etc also  carry it. Spray on evenly, wait 10 seconds, wipe gently off. don't leave it on longer, and don't wet the surfaces.
You want  to avoid abrasive  cleaners, and don't use anything with bleach, since it will  remove the paint/lettering.

A furniture restorer for 40 years and a antique dealer for over 50 told me Pledge is the worst thing people use on Furniture. Its a petroleum based product and the wood slowly absorbs it making the finish in the long run look horrible and a nightmare to refinish. My wife has a Piano that has been in her family for years the wood has turned black in places because of the use of pledge. We use a natural orange cleaner now and everytime we use it the finish is slowly starting to come back.
