Hi Guys:
Finally got my Dr Pepper Atlas done. You would think that a cooler would be simple, but this on took a little more work than I thought. Had to make a new tub, and had to find a original Dr Pepper sign for the front. Chrome corner caps were pinged up pretty good and took some time to get them all out and buff them out. The lids outer edge was rusted really bad and had to have a new band of steel wrapped around the edge and then rework them. The cap catcher was missing, so I had to build a new one.
The end result came out great.  happydrinkers

I can't take credit for the color scheme. I got that idea from the one that Jeff W has in his collection. He has a lot of great looking machines that are done up in some great color schemes.

can not wait until thursday curtis and steve are coming over with the RC cola bottle scale, also another member of the group is also coming over to meet curtis with a few machines and check out my collection. don't  know his name, but curtis said he is on this group, It is always great when you can show you stuff to another member . Curtis said the scale was a hard job , but i will fall over when i see it, he said. The plastic bottle had a lot of damage to it.
