A little, Very tired from a 4 1/2  hour drive  each way, but I've finally  landed my (non pop/soda)  dream machine, a complete and original Wurlitzer 1015

It was 5:30 when we got back  home, so of course it's dark and the light wasn't great in the garage, and in the light it may look like hell, but it will be a showpiece.
It also blew my fun budget for most of 2010, but it was too good of a deal to pass up, and I've only wanted one for oh 25 years or so.

I can identify very well with the desire to have a 1015... For me its always been her little sister the 1100..

One day, one day.....

Is it fully working??? Its a buet....

Dave, don't know if it works, seller says  they were using it into the 1980's, but only one bubblle tube was intact, and the tubes  were all missing. But the oftern missing coin mech was there, but the wiring showed it's age.
Never give up on the 1100, it took me 20 some years, but i finally landed my Holy Grail.
It's going to be a restoration of love.
And thanks all for the congrats. I'm all ready imagining it  next to  the Vendo 81 in  the game room

Dang thats awesome! There is a 1015 about 45 minutes here and its the nicest 1015 I have ever seen He was offered $10k cash for it and turned it down. A friend here in town bought two of them in the early 80's for $150.00 and made one out of the two and lost it in a divorce.

Please tell the story that is probably the only juke I would want to own!

Great score on the Holy Grail there Jim!  I would love to have one of those someday as well!

It wasn't just the drive that tired Kilroy out.  It was his struggle against the Black Knight:

And having to cross the Bridge of Death:
