Any ideas on what these machines might be worth? I found them about 60 miles from where I live. What are the chances?? I e-mailed them about them and they are supposed to get back to me. Can't wait and the bad thing is that I have to leave for work at 2:00 for eight hours and then go back in at 7 a.m. for eight more. I think that by the end of tomorrows shift I will be bald!

Hey guys! I feel like I am wearing out my welcome by adding all of these new posts, but I am just excited about finding a web site that I can talk about or leave comments of collecting things like coke machines. I have been interested in soda machines for years and have had to keep it bottled up inside with no one to talk to about it. Now I can let it out, YEEEEHAAAAA!!!!

Hard to tell what exactly is there on each machine, but here it goes IMO: Cav-96 - looks to be missing the compessor assembly = $200-$250 (2) Cav-72 - missing shelves, but the 96 shelves are the same = $500-$600 each Vendo 81A - missing some shelves, coin mech and coin bezel and possibly compressor (can't tell) = $500-$600 Glasco 50 - possibly missing rack = $100-$300
Prices assume compressors work, no major body damage and I caught all the missing parts!

Well, the lady emailed me back and told me to make an offer on them. Any suggestions? Here is a photo of the slider, complete with racks, plus they also have about 5 other old round tops not pictured and some gas pumps.

Nice find!... Looks like a Cav 51 behind the pumps (ammo belt model) Been out of it too long for buying and reselling to give any good advice... But looks like enough to complete the 2 - 72s using shelves from the 96... I'd keep the 72s and pair up the 96 and 81 to resell together. the Glasco looks complete. Do you restore?... If so good money could be made... If not I'd see what machines I could keep and think of what I could get for selling the others... Times are tough right now for folks... so if you've got the money to invest... you might be able to make some cash and keep a few to restore. Keep us posted.. you've come to the right place to get info on value of the machines. Hope you can get these.. Haven't seen a group like this all at once in quite a while! .good luck!

I say jump on the 81, parts are readily available. This is the moneymaker. Negotiate the purchase of the large letter 72 first then the small letter 72, but only if she will use the shelves from the 96 to complete them. She can keep the 96 if she thinks it is worth a lot, although the compressor would be nice to have as a spare. The slider has an Ideal coin mech. but is still nice......too nice to restore. I wouldn't get too excited about that Cavalier 51 and the machine next to it may be a Westinghouse BV56 (leave it there) or a Vendo 39 (buy it cheap) I can't help you with gas pumps although I think you may have enough work ahead of you with Coke machines already. Nice find, especially all in one place Keep us posted!

Welcome nice find... I agree with the earlier posts.. rank them in this order. Get the Vendo 81 for sure.. like glen said it's the most valuable one in the group. but being missing some parts, coin mech and shelves, 500-600 tops. the Glasco is second I'd say, but stay under 300 the Cav 72's , are 3 and 4 and the rest if they are cheap, like under 200-300 each.. no more. the Pumps are not that great, unless there are more.. The one on left is a Gilbarco, the other, not sure, but both look like missing alot of parts, 100-200 tops for the pumps. Hope this helps. keep us posted.. and be sure to look around and see what else she has...
Good luck!

I do not know your location - but that comes into play. Around here, I couldn't touch a complete (even with an Ideal mech) running Glasco for under 500. The others are "projects" and the prices are as stated.
