Comments:   The Vendo 80 utilizes the same size cabinet as the Vendo V-39 and the Vendo V-81. The first version of the V-80's were all red and later in 1955, to comply with Coca-Cola's two-tone paint scheme of red with a white top, V-80's were painted with the familiar "White Top". Some V-80's came with a decorative textured aluminum covering a portion of the cabinet door just above the coin door. This is probably Vendo's smallest machine that utilized an electric coin mechanism that required no mechanical assistance from the consumer.. The Vendo 80 could be considered a scaled down version of the Vendo V-144. These machines are quite heavy for their size too!
