Beautiful piece of equipment in this "newbie's" opinion.  I prefer the crank for FYI.

Very high on the cool meter!  Knob will also look better than the crank!

Nice work!

I vote for "knob", so as not to block the "change" text.

So far it looks like the knob jobs have it - but OTS - once they get the ring, the knob jobs seem to disappear!  down

Looks great. I would have to vote for the knob. Is this a piece you did to add to your collection, or are you selling it?

Looks REAL NICE, Tom!  Hope to see it next trip out to Phoenix.  I like the look of the crank handle, but not a fan of it covering the wording.  So...as it sits, my vote is for the Knob Job!   tounge

At this point in time I plan on keeping it and hanging it on the wall. I don't have a lot ($$-wise) into it and my kids love to play with anything coin related. I hope to start my DP VMC-81 sometime this year or early next year and I want to put it next to it.

Thanks everyone for the kind words - wish I could take all of the credit!

i say sliding lever

What is a sliding lever - you mean conventional Vendo crank handle?
The turn knob that came with it looks like the picture below. It is my other original one
