I thought this would look cool, so I again traded Randy Mitchel of Nostalgic Restorations mech work for painting. He did a phenomenal job. I have a little work to do on it still as the new paint makes it a little difficult to get open, so I need to loosen some things up a bit.
I had all the parts re-plated or anodized or polished and last night got everything in place. I still need to put the actuating knob on - it is down being re-chromed and is done, so I just need to pick it up.
Whenever I get my DP 81 done  hopefull , this will mount next to it.
What do you think?

Very neat!  Does that use the vendo crank handle or a knob?

Does that use the vendo crank handle or a knob?
Originally it was a knob and the knob is what I had re-chromed, but either will fit and could be switched easily at any time. I chose to go with the knob because the crank handle interferes with the CHANGE lettering on the front and the knob doesn't. Will post another picture when it is all done!
Maybe I'll take two pics and let SMC members vote on which option - knob or crank?

Here is a picture of it with the crank - I would need to get one chromed of course, but you get the idea.

Tom -   You were right, it turned out great.  The knob is the way to go...

I like the Standard brand changers.  I have a dual one, and a single one.  They actually made a triple changer and an electric version too.  They are very cool, but heavy.

I like the handle too.  That picture didn't show up on here, or at least for me, but I know what the handle looks like.
