Looks very nice, it motivates me to start working on my national cigarette machine. I like the color you picked it should look sweet once finished.

I took apart the vending stack, and painted or polished everything. I'm glad I have an extra one to look at to put this back together! I still haven't worked on the pull area part at the bottom, or put the gum parts back together, but here is what the progress looks like so far.

Looks great, I've always been afraid of taking one apart? did you paint the parts or powder coat them? also what did you polish the metal parts with ? they look great.

I'm going to be displaying it in my Family room, then in my basement once I re-due it. I'm hoping to have a few of my projects done by next year. Then it will give me a reason to re-due the basement so I can display the things I have nicely.
First I cleaned them all by hand, and used some steal wool on the tuff parts. I could have stoped there since it looked nice once that was done, but then to make it look a little better I just used some aluminum polish on the change mech part, and metal polish on the other parts. I just did it by hand and it looks nice. If I would have used a polishing wheel I think it would have looked like chrome!
