mystic pen

This is a very cool machine i bought off another collector, it is called the mystic pen, you drop in a nickel push in coin slide. you put your hand down on the hand on the machine, now the pen starts to write you a message, in about 30 seconds you get a card with a message, made in 1950, very cool machine, the only thing i had to do, was make a new sign. the guy had one made, but he put 1 cent it should be 5 cents. had a guy hand paint one on card board stock, so it looks old. will install it tonight.

there are about 100 different cards, the machine holds 2000 cards

I love the ingenuity and engineering accomplishments of the 40's & 50's. Very nice machine!
