Guys saw this machine. Guy will take $300. No coke bashing. Looks like a generic 110.

Did you run a magnet across the embossing area? Did you remove the top of the liner and look at the inside?
I've never seen a generic SD 110, so either it is extremely rare or the embossing has been eliminated.

Yes I remember Leonard. That machine went to Kevin. By the way where has he been??? The machine leonard referred to was a coke 110 that someone filled the embossing with bondo and put a pepsi decal. Leonard removed the bondo and underneath was a cice coke embossing.

In my earlier days of collecting I had a embossed Pepsi 110 that I sold to JohnnieG. It was rough but restorable. Here is a pic of that machine

I ran a magnet across the front, nothing. Guy could not get into the machine though, no key! He would not drill or let the lock be drilled. Best guess is it is a Coke box. Said he would let it go for $250. Worth it?

I agree, great looking machine, even if it has been "converted" from Coke!  I'd leave it as is and have a nice looking Canada Dry machine.  I had a 6 CV before and got rid of it.  It wasn't too big, and I often regret doing that.  Hmmmm.....

I ran across this similar machine on the Northern Michigan CL and was planning on going to have a look only because I am in the neighborhood on business.  Anything I should be wary of?  It has the LD so it is likely a legit generic VMC 110.  Looks rough though?  Just thought I would try to get it for a deal.  Some of the parts have got to be worth a few bucks.  Suggestions . . .
