I just received this old machine (coke) and was able to get the compressor and fans working. But here is my question does any one have apicture of the coin mechanism in place
on a machine as I don't see how the coin gets from the coin slot to the coin mechanism as they are off set from one another! also there is is a blue wire comining from a coil? and a yellow wire from the white muti-conector on the mechanism
that are not connected. Can you PLEASE point me in the right direction to help me get this machine working again. Thanks In advance

If you have a Cavalier 80 (c80c), the answer to your first question is, you might be missing the slug rejector. This part also has the coin hopper and is shown in Jonnie's picture.
    If you do have it, could it be insatalled backward?
    Next, when I recieve a machine with wires disconnected, it's usually because it had a problem, and some birdbrain has attempted to fix it, then gave up! Replacements are  easily available, and a lot less headache than repairs.

ctmouse is already sourced a replacement coinco unit & is probably going to scrape this one for parts...thanks again!

OK I dug out my old coin mech. (like your's), with the slug rejector removed, looking down at the top of the mech's front ie:1st. wafer switch, it goes: top lug=yellow, then 2nd lug= blue (both blues are on the same terminal lug) then 3rd. lug=brown, this mech will accept quarters but doesn't give change. on the second (rear position) wafer switch it's 1st terminal lug 1=brown, 2nd.=green, and 3rd=orange. hope thats clear enough.

I did look at the waffer switches and I think that's it, but there is a purple wire in the top lug already so maybe the blue is in the middle and the yellow on the bottom? The other wires are as you stated (correct order) Now it is just a learnig thing for me as I will install the other changer when it arrives.

I just have one question that someone may have the answer to how to set the dip switches to set the price as now if put in 25 cents it opens (pull out machine) or a dime also but not a nickle. there are 6 switches.

If my memory serves me, the dip switches are as follows for this model:
(I don't have documentation in front of me)
1 = .05
2 = .10
3 = .20
4 = .40
5 = .80
6 = 1.60 (...?)
It looks as if this coin mech is currently set at .10 cents...
Up is On and down is Off; so by turning on certain switches you can total the values for all the "On" Switches to calculate the vending price.
