I am also new to this site, or any forum for that matter. And I have found the members of this site both friendly and extremely knowledgable. The wealth of information from this site has help to guide me through several purchases and restorations.
When ever I am buying or working on a project I look up information from the many sub forums here in order to gain insight before I tackle that next big project. In many circamstances, saving me both time and money.

I have also been collecting for many years, and I have just recently began purchasing and restoring machines for more then just a hobby. Although I must admit, it is an extremely slow start-up, especially with the economy slowing down like it has. But on the up side, the cost of the machines is now more affordable and deals are found. And the machines I restored look great in the garage next to my old two door chevy.

I extend a warm welcome to you.
By the way...great job on the 44.
