I wasn't going to say it, but I would have left it original too. We americans tend to over restore things, taking from them, there original charm, and the reason we were drawn to them in the first place.

I wonder if other soda companies had similar street vendors?? Never seen one before.

And Jeff....do you use any of your stuff or is all for display?
most stuff just displayed. I run one soda machine and all the jukeboxes  run, they must be used or you get problems with the mechs.

Nice, but I too would have left it original.
I would have left alone, but a lot of bad rust on the inside from ice  over the years, i felt if i did not redo, one day would start to find holes thru the embossed panels.
