Some direction, please?

       The Glasco lid has a gasket in addition to the body gasket. The Ideal 55 lid will
fit it just fine without it.
       The problem the sheet metal shop has is not the outer SS which is always
dented, but the inner panel which has double bends to it. I supply him with my old
inner panel and insullation then he only needs to make 4 notches and 4 bends.
If he doesn't have the polished stainless in stock, you will end up buying an entire
3' X 10' sheet but that is enough for 7 lid skins.
       Maybe a good idea is to have 7 lid skins cut and notched, then sell then to
whoever needs one so he can get the rest done at his local sheet metal shop?
