To all our brother and sister in the line of Hurricane Ike
We wish you well and hope you come out on the other side ok.

They are saying the storm surge could be the big deal.

We are getting a ton of people over here in San Antonio. Here in San Antonio, we are going to miss it, but get rain. I have friends where it is going to hit, Victoria, TX. Pray for everyone to get out and be safe. This is a monster!

Agreed...hope everyone gets to safety in time and weathers the storm!  We are also full up here in Del Rio from evacuees.  Shouldn't get much other than a couple showers and a breeze.  Of course, I've spent the entire week preparing the base for possible evacuation and then to host rescue forces.  I'll be glad when Ike's gone!

Hope everyone has made proper preparations. The time after the storm can be devastating if no preparations have been implemented!
Our prays are with those and hopefully no one is seriously injured...
