Anyone by chance gonna be traveling through MI into MO?
Just won a Quikold Master “Orange Squeeze”? cooler, embossed, rough
gonna take it and the junior parts I have left over and make a
junoir out of it.... Anyone close traveling?.... Or passing through there
during the Novemebr Chigaco (St. Charles IL) Coin-Op show?
If not I think they'll hold it until November for me and I'll make that trip
during the Chicago show....

Thanks for any help....

Thanks guys... Pat I have to call him tomorrow and see what we can do on it...
I may have him just take it apart.. he said he could... looks kinda rough but for the price why not
It was on eBay.. $45...
But if not will give you a call Pat and maybe work something out.... maybe they could hold it till you're out that way and not have to make a special trip just to pick it up.

Weird brand.... makes you wonder what is all out there.... Never heard of it... But thought it
would be cool to have another little brand in the collection... it's just block looking font and
I've looked at their soda  bottles and a sign to get an idea of what /how
to restore it..... it looks to have been originally yellow... but I'm thinking of going
the Orange Crush route and do a cream lettering, orange body and black base and lid....
We'll see....
Again thanks...

Very cool embossed cooler!!!
As stated, another example of what is still out there...
Do you know if the bottle opener is blank or has "Orange Squeeze" embossing...?

Eric,

Very nice cooler!  I'm not familiar with the brand but very cool!

I am in Brighton every day of the week and could easily pick it up and store it for you.  I will not be getting out to Chicago anytime soon but I do get out to Grand Rapids on a regular basis.  Perhaps there is a member in GR that I could hand it off to on one of my trips and that would get it fairly close to the Windy City!

Let me know, I would be happy to assist!

Thanks guys for helping out... This is awesome... is either you guys (Pat and Tim)
going to the Chicago Coin Op showin November?... I"m coming for sure... gotta drop off my 56
I'm gonna have them send the opener so I can get it chromed with some other parts.
They said they could tarp it till Novemebr for me so if one of you guys could swing by before
coming to the show? Let me know what we could work out.. If not I can just road trip it's somethig nlike 5 hours.. And he's suppose to have a heck of a collection of Gas/Oil collection It's
Cheese who has it many of you guys may know who he is.... Seems to be a great guy.

The opener is a blank Quikold version....
compressor's missing, the lids are a little beat up and they welded hooks on each end to hoist
into the barn loft after use.... he also said there are a couple .22 holes in each end but nothing
serious..... They got it in a gamp pump collection deal it was up in the loft
and from the looks the rope must have broke a couple times wow

The plan is to grind the hooks back off... fill the holes remove both end
cut the base down to the size of a junior and possably the tub too depending on condition....
take the junior sides and lid I have and the extra cap catcher and make a Orange Squeese junior.
Can't tell from their images if the letters have much character... look just like squared off letters
but hopefully I can make it pretty cool looking.... We'll see...
